Farmgirl Friday blog hop # 16

Welcome to Farmgirl Friday blog hop # 16 ! Well, we did it farmgirls! Last weeks entries climbed from 39 the previous week to 47. There were so many great entries it was hard to choose who to feature this week.
I've been after John'a Lee of The Scrappy Appleyard blog to join the hop for a while now. She was finally able to make last weeks hop! She's a busy farmgirl designing her charming quilt blocks and traveling the country selling her wares with the help of " Guitar Man ". Her work makes me feel so carefree, comfy and cozy all at the same time!  If you haven't been by to see her yet, please do! You'll be glad you did! Here's a peak at her latest block called... ~ A Summer Afternoon Read ~

Faye at The Blessed Hearth has the most romantic cottage farmgirl bathroom! How do I know? She entered it in last weeks hop asking if she should remodel it. NO FAYE!  Just, let it be! I'm on my way over for a nice long soak!

Alana Jo of  Bull Rock Barn and Home  got my mouth waterin' with her entry. She's a new blogger exploring the world of homesteading.  By the looks of her Wild Blackberry Jam I'd say she's on her way! Go see her and give her some blog love!

What's better than homemade jam and biscuit's?

It's time to link up for your weekly dose of farmgirl soul-food!

Here are the rules for the Farmgirl Friday blog hop:

1.) Write a post about your farmgirl lifestyle and brag a little about your farmgirl talents while your at it! Share what being a farmgirl means to you. Include lots of photos of your farm, crafts, animals, quilts, home decor projects and thrifty make overs, your backyard garden, hen house, studio or workshop. You get the idea!
2). Leave a permalink in the Mr. Linky space to your Farmgirl Friday post.
3). Please include the Farmgirl Friday button ( or link back here ) in your post.

Welcome new subscribers and friends! Thanks for all you share!  Keep that farmgirl soul-food comin'!

I agree, DO NOT remodel that bathroom!!!
In response to your comment last week, yes, we've considered straw bale, and it's got my vote, but MW is afraid if we try it we'll end up loosing straw to the local free-range cattle, which, by the way, EAT ANYTHING! He's also concerned about mold developing inside! Oh well... Besides, have you noticed the price of a single straw bale nowadays?! Oi!!! Thanks so much for visiting me and leaving a comment!
